If you have a look at some of the photos you'll see that my stye of cake is fairly simple with minimal decoration, a splash of colour here and there, perhaps a sprinkle or two, not too much. 

I always think there's nothing more disappointing than a cake that looks amazing but doesn't live up to expectations on taste which is why I pride myself on making everything from scratch (apart from jams, curd etc)
